Im totally against him not taking paternity leave. He is already proving that the kid is just another thing to add to his resume. He is the only parent and yet, he is not bonding or making the sacrifices a parent should make. Poor kid- raised by nannies.
He was raised by nannies.
But at least he had a mother to have a relationship They seemed very close until his mom died. Now he is denying his own child a mother's love.
You are ridiculously sexist. There are many types of family. I guarantee that this child will be loved far more and have a much better life than the children of Banita Jacks, Casey Anthony, Catherine Hoggle, Lori Vallow, and many more. There are good mothers and bad mothers. There are good fathers and bad fathers. You live in some sort of Lake Woebegone where all mothers are wonderful and all fathers are mediocre or bad and that all mothers are more important than fathers. Sad. I hope you don't have sons. Growing up with a female sexist mother and essentially being raised to believe that you will be a second-class parent to your children is just sad.
Hello. Do you deny that everyone has a mother? Do you deny that all things being equal it is better to have a mother in your life? How is this sexist? Humans, both male and female are imperfect. No parent is. How is this sexist? Of course, he can be a good parent. But is it right for the child not to have a relationship with his mothers? I'm assuming you would like a world where we are created in a lab and therefore there are no mothers or fathers? Just care givers like in the Giver? And it sad that you are quoting the orange dear leader.
Forgot to add why mention the extremely bad mothers? Are you a mother? Do you put all mothers into the murdering your children type of mother? If we had better mental health than maybe these women wouldn't have killed. Btw, I have sons so your wish has not come true!
Do I deny that everyone has a mother? No. Do you deny that everyone has a father? But you make a false assumption that having a mother is a panacea and that denying a child their mother's love is somehow injuring or harming the child. I made the statement that there are good mothers and bad mothers, good fathers and bad fathers. I mentioned the bad mothers because you made the statement that Cooper is denying his child his mother's love. So, what if the mother is a bad person or a bad parent, like those bad mothers I cited. There is nothing inherently better about having a mother's love than not. I agree that it is bad to deny children the love of good parents, such as in the case of a divorce and custody battle where one parent denies the other parent from access to the child. But if you really think that denying a child a relationship with their mother is by definition a bad thing, then you need to go to family relationships and look at the many stories of mothers who are major emotional manipulators or abusers that put their child in therapy for years. Or mothers who are substance abusers, mothers who have mental issues that cause them to abuse their children. I cited just a handful of bad mothers. There is nothing superior about having a relationship with their mother, unless you know that the mother is a good mother. There is no guarantee that a a random anonymous egg donor is going to be a good mother or a bad mother. What I think is that children should be raised by loving, caring parents who can put a priority on the needs of the child; parents that will always do what is best for the child, even if it is not the best for the parent. Yes, studies have shown that having two parents is typically better than one parent. But having one father is not necessarily better than having one mother. Having two fathers, or two mothers is not necessarily worse than having one of each.
Sorry but, you wrote too much and no paragraphs so I am not going to weed through your comments. Basically, Anderson Cooper created a baby by using two women ( eggs and surrogate) and then cutting them out of his son's life. That is different than a single dad raising his kid if mom had died. His son has no knowledge of his mom's side of the family. If Cooper wanted to parent he could have adopted, like Madonna or even Angelina Jolie. I am not getting into the idea of "bad" mothers or fathers or good mothers or fathers. I think he should stop posting and sharing pictures of his son and give him privacy. Btw, did anyone catch him say his son is "kind" Ug dude your son is one years old! Wait until age 10 until you say that!
