Nah, this is a huge public blow and PR nightmare for her.  It's why she's been silent for the past 24 hours, after this news came out.  When brands drop you, that's a huge blow to your personal brand and creates really worst-case-scenario headlines, because it says it all about how the public perceives you[/quote]

Right.  But if that was all she cared about, she would never have tried so hard to get attention for herself and become a big name herself (she's been with him for over a decade now, long before she became this famous).  She said herself, in her apology, how hungry she is for attention.  It means a lot to her.

Not to mention, John Legend has pretty much always benefited, at least once she became known on twitter, from being with a partner generally perceived as witty and funny.  Now that she's like PR nuclear waste, it will be very interesting to see how that changes things between them.  She was a benefit before and now she's a liability.  And ALL celebrities care very much about how theyre perceived[/quote]
