David Blair has to be front runner
Certainly the most credible challenger to Elrich when you consider that the main other option is Riemer, who is not credible. Still think Elrich would win head-to-head. He's not bungled the pandemic and has done decently well, even though he's had both Hogan and the council trying to undermine him.
This Democrat will not vote for Elrich.
Neither will this one. Enrich has bungled the pandemic. We can’t even go to the library. Blair or PP’s elderly indoor shitting dog from the beginning of the thread.
I'm not sure why going inside the library is or should be a defining issue on whether to vote for someone. Hate him as much as you want, but if you favored safe reopening Elrich did a fantastic job prioritizing teachers for vaccination. Reopening does not happen without schools. He may be owned by the MCEA, but sometimes that actually works in everyone's favor.
Not sure I follow- didn’t the state make teachers eligible at the same time as the county? I do give him credit for the partnership with Hopkins to give teachers more options for vaccination but not reason enough to vote for him.
The state set eligibility and allocated doses. The # of doses allocated to MoCo was very low (thanks Hogan) and Elrich prioritized public school teachers for those doses. So much so that private schools complained. Instead they could have implemented a different system.
