You need to compare apples to apples.  Columbia school of general studies is like Harvard extension.  The latter currently has about 30,000 enrollment, according to wiki.  And in my company, it's not unusual for some HS grad person to say he or she attended the 2 week Harvard Kennedy School this or that.  [/quote]

Not sure what your beef is.  Harvard's extension is HUGE.  U of MD also has extension classes.  Who doesn't?  So, what's your point?
