There is no official WCAC basketball or winter sports season. Some of the teams stayed together loosely and are competing at a league at the St. James. It is not even close to what a summer league would be. [/quote]

The St. James is literally mocking this area's response to the school shutdowns. They just hosted an elite basketball tournament with teams from all over the country and did so without any pandemic repercussions. The rules were supposed to be no spectators but there were a lot of people in the gym. Don't be surprised if the public schools and some privates use this type of model to eliminate school funded sports moving forward. Why bother financially supporting sports and extra-curriculars when it can be done privately. Lacrosse could easily follow the same model in lieu of an official school season. [/quote]

You don't seem to understand the COVID rules, or are intentionally mispresenting them. The Saint James didn't break state nor county rules. If they did they'd get shutdown immediately. They're running high profile events with obvious oversight from all involved government organizations.
