Along these lines, people with highly specific and personal definitions of [non-standardized term] that they insist everyone follow.

"Your child is not potty trained until he is dry all night every night, can use the big toilet without an insert, handle every button and zipper ever invented, wash his hands consistently for at least 25 seconds, never have a single accident for any reason, etc. EVERYONE KNOWS THAT SO STOP INTENTIONALLY MISREPRESENTING HIM AS POTTY TRAINED!!"

Or: "All kids under the age of 2 (or 3, or 4 or whatever) are in DAYCARE not SCHOOL."

Or: "You cannot say your child is reading unless they can write a dissertation on the book they just read. And there'd better not be any misspellings!"[/quote]
