My parents taught me basic things so I'm responsible, but I don't know about all the tax-advantaged stuff beyond our 401K. As an adult, I didn't earn much in my 20s and we had a moderate HHI when we got married. DH handles our investment stuff for the most part, so I still skew clueless relative to my HHI. I'm not defending myself, I'm just explaining how it can happen. Regardless, though, I'd ask advice from a finance professional or someone knowledgeable that I know in IRL...not DCUM.[/quote]
