LOL these responses are such a joke to anyone who knows the backgrounds of the vast majority of girls on these Mclean teams. Love how the privileged parents here call out the one window dressing kid from the other side of the tracks on their team to emphasize their nonsense. I know it hits a nerve, but your privileged child isn’t as great as you think she is.
Yeah, but she’s better than your kid, just like I am better than you. I know this because I’m not complaining about how hard and unfair things are and how everyone else sucks and is elitist etc. The fact is that I was not born with a silver spoon, but I worked hard and smart and now I can make things easier on my kid from an access perspective. There’s is nothing wrong with that and to have some blog troll act like there is, is kind of funny.
Lol. Yep. Arrogant Mclean parent. This answer nails it. What a pleasure you must be to hang out with.
We’re all sorry you’ve failed in life. Also, I am not a McLean parent, just one that’s had some success and don’t spend my time bitching about those that have done better in life than I have. Take a long look in the mirror and think about what you could have been had you tried a little harder and worked a little smarter.
I'm not sure what's funnier on this site, the number of people allegedly not affiliated with subject club, yet spend all day here defending it (Loudoun, FCV, VDA, and now McLean) or the obtuseness of posters like the one above who seems to think someone who is successful can't call the McLean spade a spade. It's ok to be successful and to be happy about it, but don't pretend as though you and your DD, at McLean, haven't benefited from your privilege. Accept both it and her lackluster talent for what they are and move on. It's really the healthiest path forward for your narrow mind.
Everything you just said was completely wrong. My DD does not play at McLean. I don’t enjoy pre-ordained privilege, I earned it, and if you haven’t figured it out, that’s how life works. You reap the harvest of your labor. My point is, once again, there is no point in bitching about other’s success and lot in life. Focus on yours. That’s it. You’ll end up much happier in life.
