You sound very stupid. You have no idea what the nature of a cheating husband’s rship affairs are. What if he has multiple ONSs? How would you know if he’s fallen in love with an AP? Sounds like you have very low standards for yourself. I hope you’re raising your kids to have higher standards.

DP. Honestly I would probably take is as carte blanche to do the same thing. I am not sure what I would do in the moment if it actually happened, but that's what I think I would do.

I would never tell my sister, daughter, or best friend how to handle their relationship. Everyone has different dealbreakers. Some people (as well evidenced on this site) put up with husbands who don't lift a finger around the house and consider child-rearing to be their wife's job, whether or not she works outside of the home.
