Agreed.  The way this is all going down is more than suspicious.  Anytime woke twitter gets all excited that Barr and/or Trump are getting their comeuppance, it never materializes.[/quote]

I think this is more of a stalemate.

They wanted to stop the investigations by replacing Berman with a more compliant candidate.
They got Berman out the door, but did not place their chosen Acting, and had to settle for Berman’s loyal deputy.

Back to square 1, except they showed their hand, so I would say they lost the advantage of surprise.
