They do count for something, in fact they count for a lot. You probably participated in your company's 401K plan and maybe earned a pension. That retirement money didn't just disappear. I would hate to job hunt in your shoes but, hopefully, you got a decent severance package and unemployment to see you through to the next job. I'm sorry that happened.[/quote]
