When a dog owner chooses to go out shopping, they can leave the dog at home in it's crate. When a parent goes wants to go out shopping and they have no babysitter they cannot put their child in a crate and leave the child by itself. If they did, they would face criminal charges and run the risk of possibly having the child permanently taken away from them. [/quote]
