Other than a few FCV parents, this is not accurate.  There are far more ECNL chest thumpers here than were ever DA chest thumpers.   And, quite honestly, why does it matter?  All of the talent in the DA will make its way back to starting rosters in the ECNL if the DA were to fold, as unlikely or likely as that may be.  So short term chest thumping may turn into long term heartburn for many here.

Who is going to replace her? Every team in this area, ECNl or DA, with the exception of Spirit, already existed. If one league collapsed, the clubs will put on a different patch and move on. As I said before, a league collapsing is different than a club collapsing. There will be no displacment of talent to bump my bench warmer.[/quote]
