Maturity is giving an appropriate response to the tone in the previous note. If I share advise based on my experience and someone tells me to sop, that person is behaving like a moron. I have provided enough support to my claim that there are strong classic coaches and teams that will do more to prepare kids for elite soccer than the C or lower teams at most clubs. The idea is that if you are looking for an alternative to travel then you can find a great situation in classic/select.
You haven’t provided any support other than your experience. Nothing you did is reproducible. Is your kid even playing travel now? How many kids from your Classic program went to play in ECNL or DA? Nobody said a kid couldn’t play classic and not make a travel team. But not all travel is elite. If a kid has any ambitions of playing elite soccer then frankly you practicing malpractice by suggesting years of classic soccer as preparation.
