Before her, people didn't feel the need to bring their dog everywhere (and let's be honest, it's mostly dogs). There's no need to bring your non-service animal with you for a weekend or week away. It's stressful for the animal. They do it because the person is codependent, or feels like their dog is a social/status symbol. It's absurd and so selfish.  [/quote]
