When was it ever not OK to be white?
this is a prank intended to stoke racial tension.
It's not even a prank. It's a recruiting tool for white supremacists. They are pretty open about their intended goal - getting mainstream whites to see themselves as victims and becoming to white supremacist policies and politicians.
Why is every other race allowed to form groups based on heir race, but if whites do it then they are "white supremacists?" For example the black congressional caucus, NAACP, La Raza, etc.
None of those groups is about their supremacy. White supremiscists are about, you guessed it, the supremacy of the white race over all others. Jews will not replace us! Blood and soil!
This is beyond stupid. There’s nothing wrong with a group of people celebrating being white. I bet there’s even people of color joining.
Indeed.. there's an Irish heritage festival happening in MD. No minority groups are protesting it. Some of you are really clueless. People don't care if you celebrate your heritage, no matter what continent your heritage is from. It's the celebrating of a hateful group like the KKK or White Nationalist groups that people are disgusted with. And you have to be daft to not understand why there are minority political groups in the US. Let me spell it out for you... it's because minorities are.. you guess it * A MINORITY GROUP* in the US, and as such, their voices are hardly ever heard, and so they form groups.. strength in numbers, if you will. Also, historically, white America has found ways to push down minorities. Many of these groups came about from the Civil Rights movement. Why do you think there are Women in STEM type groups and conferences? You guessed it.. it's because they are *A MINORITY* group in the industry, so to get their voices and interests heard, they form groups.
