+1.  This thread is very active but no one who has been off it for some time has chimed in.  Im really curious as well, I have first appt with Anchors in June and I am worried about long term benefits and potential side effects.[/quote]

I got the sense from Anchors that there wasn't a specific enddate for the effectiveness of phen pro.  Meaning, everyone is different, as we can tell from the different experiences on this combo posted here.  Maybe you could ask him again, and post his response?

I've been fortunate that I have had no speediness, no headaches, constipation, or lessening of the effects of the meds so far, and I've been taking it for two months.  As others have said, I'd stay on it forever if I could – not to continue losing, because I'm close to my goal weight, but because it does a great job at suppressing cravings and keeping my mind off food.  I didn't realize how much I thought about food all the time, until I started taking these medications. It's very freeing to have a more relaxed and less obsessed relationship with eating. I'm doing my best to figure out ways to develop the skills myself so I'm not dependent on the meds once I stop taking them. [/quote]
