21:17--I'm the HA IB poster. Why do you think no one is happy there?
Are you asking for reasons or for pieces of evidence?
??? Either and both! Since we're IB, I'm certainly interested.
I am new on this topic and a Stoddert parent. But I am surprised an IB doesn't know what is happening with his/her neighborhood school. The local private schools had a record number of applications this year. At least three Hyde families moved to Glover Park last year to get a spot at Stoddert and more will come soon because: - Hyde will be located in the Howard University area for at least two years. The IB and some OB children will be on a bus for 1-2 hours a day. - Hyde lost its amazing art program. Stoddert, Ross and Key have been fighting for Fillmore for many years and we will never give up. Hyde and Mary Reed lost this privilege. - Everyone who applied for 5th grade there this year got a spot. It means no one wants to stay.
