Then try to make sense of their reference scenarios starting on slide 25. Elementary counts is fine, but then look at MS counts on slide 27. What in the world are those numbers? Carson count 1744, Franklin count 2552(!?!), Poe count 1440, and Thoreau count 3247(!?!) What do those numbers represent? Is it supposed to be the base number of elementary school students that live within the physical boundaries of a middle school? High school students? It certainly isn’t middle school students. How can we have any confidence in these results when the raw numbers behind their analysis don’t make sense?
