Actually, Israel has accomplished quite a lot since they were attacked. Hamas is more or less gone. All of their leadership has been killed. Same with Hezbollah in Lebanon. The Assad regime in Syria was toppled, ensuring that Iran can no longer supply its proxy armies in the region. Iran itself has been seriously weakened by recent strikes. Their air defense is gone. Most of the rocket launchers have been destroyed. Many Iranian generals and nuclear scientists have been eliminated. Their nuclear weapons program has been at minimum seriously degraded. Iran is not much of a regional threat anymore. And both Lebanon and Syria have signaled they will be signing the Abraham Accords together with Saudi Arabia. It's been a very good 18 months for Israel and the Sunni Middle East. [/quote]

Disagree. Israel has done nothing to address the underlying issue that created Hamas, Hezbollah, etc. New groups will reform under other names and continue the fight to free Palestinians, free Lebanon and Syria. In the short term much more terrorism will occur likely a lot more against the US. Also Israel has invaded and plans on keeping the lands in Lebanon and Syria.

Syria was overthrown by Turkey. Israel now see Turkey a threat- stable country, strong military, not Jewish, Muslim, etc. Israel has already started the propaganda campaign against it- developing nuclear weapons, state sponsors of terrorism, attacks Israel, etc. Israel will invade Turkey within 1-2 years. This means the US will have to invade Turkey.

Iran will rebuild and produce nuclear weapons with delivery capabilities. It is their only option. Iran signed a treaty with the US, Europe, China and Russia and Israel vetoed it. Iran was years way from having a deliverable nuclear device but now will work with N Korea.  It is Irans only option. This has taught Iran and everyone in the region Israel will never accept peace. Strike while you have the advantage or lose it.

No country in the region will sign anything with Israel. Israel has broken every treaty it has signed. The general population in countries like Saudi, Lebanon, etc are now firmly against Israel. So much so that if the leadership in those countries did sign a treaty with Israel those leaders will be overthrown or assassinated. What’s the pint of signing a treaty with Israel while Israel keeps a gun to your head? That treaty will not be good for your country or people.

Finally Israel is now unpopular and resented in the US. These feelings will continue to grow and will remove pro Israeli politicians. The political class does not realize this yet but these policies of Israel first and only are done. The use of fake antisemitism to promote Israel and Israel interest is causing a huge backlash.

The US will cut or greatly reduce aid to Israel. You just can not continue to give Israel unlimited funding and military protection while cutting back on everything in the US and abandoning our true allies in Europe. Without the US funding, military support and special deals Israel will struggle.

All nonsense.  Jordan and Egypt signed treaties with Israel decades ago, and the peace has held.  The U.S. is not going to abandon the only functional democracy in the region.  Israel is neither resented nor unpopular except among the far-left; many see it as the only bastion of freedom in the region, not to mention a well-deserved refuge for Jews post WWII.  Israel has no reason to attack Turkey, and vice-versa - saying they plan to go to war with each other is simply baseless mischaracterization of each other's interests.  Turkey is an authoritarian regime, it is true, but it is focused on the suppression of internal dissent and of the Kurdish minority.  Israel doesn't bother them, and they don't bother Israel, and there's no reason to think that will change.  It should be clear to even someone with limited analytical skills that Iran is never going to be allowed to have a nuclear weapon.  Lebanon and Syria may yet stabilize, now that Hezbollah is toothless.  If so, both countries may well come to a modus vivendi with Israel, a la Jordan and Egypt.  The Palestinians will remain what they are - sustained by old grievances and incapable of subsisting without foreign charity, but ideally completely impotent without their Iranian sponsor.  Maybe some day a leader will arise among them who will change their trajectory towards building a sustainable civil society which benefits them, instead of leadership dependent exclusively on charity and a single-minded focus on the miscalculations they made in 1948 in rejecting their own state and initiating decades of violent aggression against Israel.  Failing that, they'll continue to be confined to a shrunken Gaza, surrounding by an extensive defensive buffer zone, to minimize their potential to re-enact Oct 7 again in the future - an outcome brought upon themselves.  That should surprise nobody - incessant calls for the destruction of your neighbor are not conducive to a loosening of defensive measures by that neighbor.  Blackmail through murder and hostage-taking is also an improbable basis for a change in the status quo except to make things worse, as Gaza has seen.  [/quote]
Jordan and Egypt will continue to do the USA’s bidding and hold the peace as long as we keep paying them and propping up their regime. With that said, the USA is on the precipice of an economic calamity at the rate we’re spending, as we are spending more money than we are taking in as receipts. How long will the people put up with sending billions of dollars to Egypt, Jordan and Israel when the USA is failing to take care of their own. In addition, Israel has its eyes on parts of Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon and Syria in Israel claims such areas as promised to Abraham. Bibi wants that land. [/quote]
