If the 2009 Coach thought the 2009 team would benefit from this kid going with them, that is his decision. The kids leaving are still paid up and officially a part of the club until after Nationals. Just ask the kids who were invited to go to Nationals as part of their new team but NVA didn’t turn over their player cards….Why, because they are still part of NVA. The club decided to cancel all remaining practices for the kids leaving, pretend like they didn’t exist, and only practice with the kids staying, even though the kids leaving paid dues through Nationals. The club was petty for doing that, and in violation of their contract, and you are petty for trying to deny this kid a chance to go to a Showcase even though she is still officially on the team. On the team just like the rest of the kids that were abruptly canceled by the club and coach. How can NVA not let kids leaving go to Nationals with their new club because they are still a part of NVA (even though all activities were cancelled for them), but then you complain they are still being invited to Showcases. It is all petty petty petty. But the kids cut out of practices didn’t complain because they are good kids who like their teammates and wish them the best. Same with the parents leaving. If only you could uphold that standard too. Don’t like the fall coach, complain to the league, don’t like the new coach, complain to this forum, don’t think it is fair kids on the team still get opportunities, complain. Did you ever think that your comments on this kid’s parents are rich given your helicopter parent actions. I do.
