ISL vs WCAC on college commits. SR Commits: UNC Notre Dame Holy Cross Fairfield Princeton Yale Villanova Potomac Commits: Duke Duke Duke Michigan Davidson Vanderbilt FSU GC Commits: Winthrop High Point Bryant Marquette Mount Saint Mary’s Salisbury Frostburg State Monmouth Denver Oregon SJC Commits: Chicago York Yale Drexel Butler Saint Leo
SSSAS Commits: John Hopkins Fairfield Rhodes University of Chicago Virginia Tech Columbia Harvard Harvard Denver Michigan Duquesne William & Mary Butler Mercer University of Tampa
Not entirely sure of the point of the original post. To compare relative strength of the commits? If so, missing, among others, Visi - ND, Stanford, VA Tech x 2, Drexel, Dartmouth, Bucknell; BI - Florida, Denver, Army, GMU, etc.; and PVI - Florida, Denison, +. Overall, pretty clear that the ISL top 4 teams have more total commits and to higher caliber programs overall. Worth noting, though, that the pure commit count was not the controlling factor in many of the head to head matchups. Injuries, coaching, teamwork, momentum, uncommitted players, etc. all played a role. GC beat Potomac and Visi pretty soundly, despite the relative commitments gap. Commits didn't always play key roles for certain teams, and like up in the IAAM, they can't even all start at places like SSSAS or where there are more than the available positions (eg. more than 3 middies). Interesting list though.
