NP - Every time people mention race it is not racism.  It is funny that the same people who talk about "cultural appropriation" and multiculturalism criticize people for mentioning some observation about people and their culture.  It is a fact that several private schools in the area have admitted full-pay students from China.  At STA, these are some of the few people who are allowed to deviate substantially from the math curriculum by moving ahead of their cohort.  If people want their children to be exposed to a variety of people with a variety of interests, they can have an opinion about what proportion of the class should be students here from China.  I have a math whiz from MoCo, but I agree.  [/quote]
