What coaching qualifications does she have to be a girls director ? She has a hustle style of coaching, grinds the kids to kick it, boot it … run … she offers little in tactical awareness and actual teaching. Curious to how she will teach other coaches on methodology etc. if you like winning at the cost of your kid being yelled at and yanked out of the game, she will be great for you. If you want development and teaching - look somewhere else. She was protected for years at GFR bc of her relationships with Radovan and Richard.
Zero qualifications. She's been a problem at GFR for years. TSJ is a sinking ship so great place for her to land.
Wasn’t the 2014 and 2015 girls teams #1 when she coached them? Seems like pretty good qualifications.
Winning games with 9 y.o. kids is not the same thing as teaching them to play soccer. As someone just said in another thread, a decent goalie and a couple aggressive athletic kids will get you a lot of W’s at that age. Playing that way doesn’t necessarily develop all the kids on the team to be effective at older ages though. Too much focus on winning at that age can in fact be counterproductive to development.
True. She has a lot of success at that age because her only focus is winning. Until NM, ML, JG, etc came to GFR there was a real issue with the U11-U13 teams struggling after aging out of FA's teams and not being able to get away with the same aggressive kick and run she teaches.
Thanks for the update NM. You're so awesome.
oh please, you don't have to be NM to know she wasn't teaching good soccer lol
seems to me that all her former players are doing well wherever they are
