Nah, this actually, IMO, is an interesting idea.  There have been many Grand Prix races in cities.  See the Famous Monaco Grand Prix.  Vegas has had one recently.  Chicago not too long along.  It's a ton of work and money to pull it off, but it's an interesting concept.   Your citizen crossing the street comment is pretty laughable.   Not like they just turn the Indy cars loose and let it rip!  His use of an Executive Order again is wrong and silly, but the overall idea of this is interesting.  Indy Car and the likes of Roger Penske have the $$ to finance it.

There are other photos of the meeting with other articles but I chose one with no paywall. The meeting happened, if that’s what you doubt. How would this improve the life of the average American?
