PP's point is likely that this shutdown will disproportionately impact Democrats. For instance, Democrats are much more likely to fly for leisure than Republicans, so they'll notice these hiccups first. Same with SNAP, Democrats will notice the pause in SNAP first, and uh, react (in)appropriately.

They are poor people who are getting too much to eat.  A few missed meals won't kill them.  SNAP beneficiaries exploded under Biden when he opened the border.  It's time to shut it down until we figure out what is going on.  [/quote]
