This deserves a thread of its own. Looks like Noem is being sidelined by Trump for now.

U.S. President Donald Trump said he is sending his "tough but fair" border czar Tom Homan to Minnesota. The move, which will see Homan report back directly to Trump, cuts across DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, who is under increasing pressure after deadly clashes between federal immigration enforcement officers and protesters. Homan is seen as a potential rival to Noem for her role. "He has not been involved in that area, but knows and likes many of the people there," Trump said in a post on Truth Social. "Tom is tough but fair, and will report directly to me." The White House said Homan will manage ICE operations in Minnesota.

So,what do you think will happen when someone — possibly Vance — points out to Trump that a major reason that his approval ratings are tanking both domestically and internationally is because he’s trying to implement the fantasies of the unelected and unelectable Miller?  If it’s a toss up between facing his own narcissistic injuries and tossing the too-big-for his britches Miller, I can see Miller getting tossed and publicly blamed for everything about Trump that his polls dislike.
