It was probably the clubs back pocket parents. The club is keeping the select few parents happy so they continue to give them money in exchange for their kids playing time. [/quote]no it was called earlier by another poster. The two nepos already traveling out to kc and one favorite that probably asked for the opportunity.  Now where it becomes entertaining is how the team serious the team handles it after being told it wasn’t worth going to.  Should make the already heated team chat awkward.

You must be a joy to be around.  Calling kids names, stalking coaches…. No wonder they didn’t invite your DD.  My guess is YOU are the problem your kids face in  their youth soccer journey.  You probably don’t even recognize that bad parent behavior can alienate a coach to your children.  Hopefully you learn before it kills your kids chances.  If bet you won’t.[/quote]
