On the contrary, I think Ray is a good guy but Karen did not hold up her end of the bargain. Karen and Ray have mentioned separately and together that Ray has always wanted to retire after a certain age and be in Florida. Unfortunately, Ray is significantly older than Karen, Karen was always a doting stay at home wife and now she has her second wind and time for a career. Ray is not pleased because he probably wants to do couple things together in his retirement and Karen is working on her perfume, filming and going on vacays with her gf's during filming. Their roles in life have shifted and thus so has their life plan. I can see why Ray would be upset. But I do not think he should hold this over his wife's head forever, plans change and life is unpredictable. Both he and Karen still have a lot of life left and will still have some time to enjoy in Florida. They can be in Florida during the off season filming and be back in Potomac for filming. In this case it would make sense to rent a home in Potomac rather than own because then they can claim Florida residency and save on tax money like the Trumps and other wealthy people.
