We are still in YDP so I think this only applies to the 2016’s who would not have any competition playing their own age group. The hard part is if there are 9 kids ready to play up a year and three are not, the 3 parents who are not ready are going to sit in their feelings more than trusting the process and developing at their own pace on a lower level team. I grew up watching Saved By the Bell and that show shows the equivalent emotional maturity of 98% of high-level soccer players parents, not just BSC parents.[/quote]
