See what happened to Elon Musk in his latest trial (Pedo Guy comment) and how the lawyer convinced the Jury to acquit him.   [/quote]

I agree that there is a good possibility that Lori will be acquitted IF defense can come up with some plausible excuse. I can't imagine what it would be, but a highly talented lawyer could make it happen. We've seen it happen in all sorts of criminal cases.

the other big difference is that a lot of people...most people cannot personally relate even a little bit to the "Musk/Pedo Guy" situation.  In the case of LL, some of those jurors either have kids who will be applying to colleges, or had kids not admitted to colleges even they had high test scores, etc.,. So it will hit close to home.
