A clean CR would continue existing programs, as is.  But that's not what's happening, instead Medicare and ACA are being gutted.

Don't mischaracterize it.  The GOP isn't gutting anything.

The spending for ACA is constantly growing in the red.  The current levels of spending can't keep up. [b]So ACA is gutting itself.[/b]

Bullshit.  ACA was made law 15 years ago, the GOP has done nothing but whine about it since, but what you have never done is actually come up with a way to fix healthcare. All you are doing with this shutdown BS, refusing to deal with it, is break healthcare even more.  You have no credibility or righteousness to stand on.[/quote]
