For my club, they know who they are taking and many of us know where are kids stand. FVU is definitely speaking with the feeder teams and coaches in the area to get an 80% picture before tryouts. It is well proven that tryouts mean little.[/quote]

On the boys side at least, FVU has been having trainings with U12 players nominated by their coaches. But not all of those who have been invited to train were invited to play with the FVU team at that tournament they did. I think that was mostly BRYC players. I assume the boys U13 FVU team next year will be a lot of BRYC, maybe some VYS, maybe a couple others sprinkled in. [/quote]
