I suspect it’s a gambit to get lower rent.  Commercial landlords are hurting bad now and may reduce twitters rent rather than evict and fight with them.  The flip side of course is that the landlords cannot let it be known that this is all you need to do to get a better deal or every tenant will do it.  And that’s a particularly big concern with a high profile company like Twitter.[/quote]

So your excuse is "stable genius".  Is it OK for tenants to just decide to pay less rent to try to get you to lower their payments?  How about if YOUR tenants or customers just decide to pay you less?[/quote]
