You're also forgetting that she was killed Christmas day.  Banks aren't open and it's not as though people wouldn't have noticed the Ramseys withdrawing a huge amount of cash like that.

Plus even if this was some plot conceived by the family acquaintances--how the heck would they have known the exact amount of the father's bonus.  As shady as the family is/was, I really can't imagine any of them bragging at local Christmas parties the exact amount of a bonus.[/quote]
