It (to me) is meant to be nothing more than a warm and genuine greeting of the season. The equivalent if you will of Happy Holidays, just that for 59 years I hvae been saying Merry Christmas never to have anyone be less than happy to hear it....think the media however has other ideas, are we really surprised?[/quote]
