The school administrators were the ones who called the police because they saw this as a suspicious device. Evaluating such a device was either (a) out of their league (which is scary on its own) or (b) not even considered. I am VERY confident both my son's and my daughter's private would not have gone this route.

Like it or not, it IS Muslim extremists that have posed a threat to our country.
