There is more opportunities to play sport since most students get to play if they wanted to play unlike other schools. TJ just had a world class swimmer (Senior) recruited by the top schools and many crew kids are recruited by the Ivy League schools. Easier to make the cheer leading squads as well. More TJ students (as a percentage of the student population) play 1 or more sports than regular high schools which is counter intuitive. [/quote]
