Agreed.  30 colleges is a lot, so I'm guessing there was either a problem with his application or his self-perception.  I'm also confused about the use of the word "exchange student" to mean someone here for 4+ years.  That's not really an exchange - that's doing high school abroad. [/quote]

You people are truly, TRULY in the dark about the Admissions process and discrimination. It doesn't fit YOUR definition and so the KID did something wrong.
