I'm saying that a thread on DCUM won't have any bearing (esp if most of the posts are from 1-2 parents). If I'm wrong then I'm wrong. So if you can't answer, please allow someone else to answer. The question wasn't directed towards you if you don't feel that way. Again, the question for anyone that is against Sela joining because "it hasn't proven itself", what is the difference with MV being accepted in its first year?
You're funny! You quoted me and asked (with a lovely added dose of snark) "Why can't you answer my question? How did MV prove itself to you when you made your valuable input to have them so graciously accepted to your clique?" And now you're saying "Please allow someone else to answer"? ... Special. Good luck getting those answers. Nighty night!
Whackadoodle on many levels. I don't know how things work at LAMB, but I can tell you as a Stokes parent - parents really don't have much influence. Judging from all of the YY threads from actual YY parents (and not the nutso Cantonese activist) - YY parents also feel like they have no influence....I wouldn't expect too much influence at DCI for your snowflake, or you'll be sorely disappointed. I am a little disappointed at some of the schools chosen to feed into DCI ---but nobody asked my opinion, just like they won't be asking yours, hon :? I hope Sela, any French immersion, or any other immersion program in the works joins DCI. We will need a lot of bodies to be successful.
