I haven't read other posts so I can't speak to that. But throughout this thread it's constantly mentioned that Sela has to prove itself before the parents can sign off on it. I am wondering how MV "proved itself" when accepted in its Freshman year. Additionally, I wonder if its even worth debating since parent's opinion will have nothing to do with whether Sela will feed to DCI. -not at either school
Yes, It's obvious you're not at either school, nor is it likely you're at any feeder school. Because parent input and inclusion of parent opinion is both a big part of how these feeder schools got founded, as well as a HUGE part of how DCI got going. Stating uninformed opinions does way more harm than good. But most importantly, you stating an uninformed decision does not take anything away from parent influence on DCI. Thank goodness!
Nasty for no reason. I wasn't bitchy, why must you present yourself in such an ugly way. We attend WIS, but would love a public option such as DCI. Why can't you answer the question? How did MV prove itself to you when you made your valuable input to have them so graciously accepted to your clique?
Your main mistake is thinking all the posts you disagree with in this thread are me. I only posted that I hope other languages will be prioritized at DCI and questioned (among others) the misinformation about separate spaces. So to answer your question about why I can't answer about Sela proving itself: I can't answer, because I never said it and I'm not a mind reader so don't know who or why anyone else said it. Lastly, if you don't want to get called out as misrepresenting information, don't do it. It's really that simple. Why do you think it's ok to make a "statement" that parent opinion has nothing to do with decisions when you're speaking from thin air and not involved? Don't make stuff up, and you won't be corrected.
