MCPS doesn't force them to accept anyone. They also have to be licensed and can't care for unlimited numbers of kids. They have to keep to staff ratios. Our provider is KAH and they are very flexible. You can register as a drop in and just pay for the days you need. However I don't know how that works when there is a wait-list, which has often been the case.[/quote]
