Please stop encouraging this Poster. We really don’t need it in here.
only GLP threads are allowed
This lady promotes starving yourself and walking a ridiculous amount every day. She is straight from crazy town and refuses to acknowledge how incredibly dangerous her approach is. has nothing to do with GLP versus non GLP.
walking a ridiculous amount every day is dangerous?
It is when you are starving yourself.
I am not starving myself. A vast majority of people who struggle with weight 1) underestimate how much they are eating 2) overestimate how much they need to eat to maintain
You said yourself that you were eating 800 calories. That’s not healthy or normal, but you know that. starving yourself doesn’t typically mean eating absolutely nothing. It means doing exactly what you are doing which is not eating enough calories. Then you are topping it off with walking as you say-30k steps per day. That’s in itself burns1200-1800 calories. Not to mention everyone has the amount of calories they burn per day just living and existing and doing normal things. So for example let’s say you burn 1000 calories per day just naturally. You are eating 800 calories and burning somewhere between 2200-2800 calories per day. That is not a calorie deficit-that’s starving yourself.
ok, first of all I am no more eating 800 calories per day, as I already explained. second, 30k steps does not burn "That’s in itself burns 1200-1800 calories". even when I was 200lbs it was maxing out at 1200. I am now 127 lbs and 30k burns only around 800 calories per iPhone. and my basal metabolism is no more than 1200. so the total burn - if I walk 30k which I don't do anymore as consistently - is 2000 at best. probably more like 1800. which explains why my weight loss has slowed down significantly even at 127 lbs which is not an insanely low weight or anything. I went through a massive weight loss, coming from over 200 lbs and it worked beautifully. now I am fine tuning the system so that I land around 120-125 lbs eventually. it will probably take at least 2 months to get there. but i feel like I am already kind of perfect to be honest. I just don't want to go up.
