The best and brightest from each school has been around for a long time.  The best and brightest in low performing schools didn’t have the opportunities that kids from the top schools had but they managed to stay on top.  If the universities have the supports for these kids they should do ok.   One of them is remedial math.  Hopefully they also have writing classes and other basics freshman year.  [/quote]
