They are not going to force top team players who are on grade with the rest of the team to play down a grade just because they were born Aug - Dec. Some prefer to go down because their kids are a grade behind and the younger team is better. Some will continue to play on grade.

You're trying to reason with parents that dont understand what happens on top teams and are likely jealous that their kid isn't on a top team.

Once the BY to SY change occurs and reality sets in they'll stop with the Aug-Sept playing down nonsense. At least for the top teams. They'll probably push for it on B and C teams where coaches are just looking for bodies and they'll get their way. But even if this occurs they'll quickly realize that its a dead end because top teams wont bring up players that are playing down a grade.[/quote]
