Does anyone know exactly how many post grad kids are playing on the SJA football team?
There are none playing games with the high school team.
That was proven demonstrably false in the OLGC game - there were at least two kids in the game who have played four years of high school football. I am not going to name names of kids on an anonymous forum, but I do know that the VHSL has those names in hand.
Are you alleging that Saint James had 2 kids that reclassed in high school? The WCAC doesn’t, but other privates let kids reclass in high school. I can name plenty of private schools in Virginia that have kids that have played more than 4 years of sports. I don’t think the kids really have much of an advantage for doing this. The WCAC kids just reclass one or two times before high school. People are always saying Mater Dei are driving to middle school. Even though you may have reported Saint James to the Virginia High School League, you haven’t found any violation for them to address.
I am the OP. Also, I didn't report them, but I know some who did. That said, there are kids on that team on their second senior year. You want to call it reclassing, fine. I call it cheating. Reclassing before HS I am fine with, but once you are in, it's shady. And what reputable VA schools have kids on their HS (not post grad) rosters who played more than four years of HS sports outside of those who were granted waivers to play varsity in 8th grade?
