Why ANYONE would choose FL over Portugal is a mystery. But especially now. If I were foreign, and esp. brown skinned foreign, there is zero chance I'd step foot in the US. As much as I hate to see how far my country has fallen, I hope the World Cup and Olympics (or individual teams) rethink coming here. It's now a "sh--hole country."[/quote]

Why do Americans often choose FL over Portugal? Because it’s easier. It’s often cheaper.

If you live in Toronto or Montreal getting to FL is quick and easy. There’s a reason that millions of Canadians have done it for decades. [/quote]
