ICE is going after the worst: gang members, violent domestic abusers, and human traffickers. If some illegal-border crossers get swept up in enforcement actions, that’s just how it goes. They should have thought about that before sneaking into our country.
No, they aren't. They are going after kids, grandmothers, people with proper work visas, people working through the system legally etc. They haven't come close to doing what you are falsely suggesting. Not.Even.Close.
yup....and not showing their identification.
Are they even going after specific people who are known to be in the US illegally or are they raiding businesses in the hopes of catching someone? I have a problem with it if it’s the latter. I haven’t read the whole thread, but what is their reasoning behind masking their faces and not showing ID? People impersonating police is not unheard of.
Democrats want to Doxx federal workers. You do understand that’s why ICE agents wear masks, right?
No. That’s why I asked the question. Don’t people have a right to ask for an officer’s name and badge number?l if they have been stopped or are being arrested?
You can ask for whatever you want, but federal officers have no obligation to provide their name and badge number.
If that’s true then how does one verify that they are being detained or arrested by an actual federal agent? I can see a situation where someone defends themself (see the previous “stand your ground”) because they feel they are in danger.
How does stating a name and badge number allow an arrestee to verify anything while being arrested?
