A lawful order to exit your vehicle is not a power trip. It's for the officer's safety. Check the Pennsylvania v Mimms SCOTUS decision. It seems like most people here are hostile to the police already.

I agree that it's different. Mommy and daddy don't email the academy instructors when Johnny or Joanie get a bad grade on an exam. There aren't a lot of 6:30 a.m. classes at your kid's cushy college either. There's no spring break. There aren't 10 hours of free time a day. Forget about safe spaces. If you want to protest you're welcome to leave. They also don't waste time and energy on nonessential gen ed fluff. You are correct because the academy is a lot more serious than college. To call it indoctrination is beneath most people. Most people.[/quote]
