I really wanna hear from her siblings and parents. What do they all think of this? Why do they never visit? Wouldn't grandparents WANT to see their grandkids? Why don't the Baldwins go to Spain to visit them?
Her family has chosen to stay very silent and to distance themselves publicly from her. How close they are in person, who knows.
Wise choice on their part. Usually no good comes from speaking out publicly. Privately, they are probably saying WTF??
From the Hilaria Reddit, it was reported that a family friend posted this on social media after the wedding: "Both her parents were unaware of her lies until the rehearsal dinner. When they heard the vows would be in Spanish they flipped. She knew they would. She had the programs printed with her brother giving her away. It broke her parents hearts. She’s a manipulative con artist. No sympathy for her ever" "Her father found out she was pretending to be Spanish and tried to get her for a psych assessment. She threw a fit and wanted her brother to walk her down the aisle because she didn’t want her parents names published. People was covering the wedding. Her folks are easy to search and everyone would see she wasn’t from Spain. Hilary is a tough and manipulative con woman. This was calculated." ETA (same family friend): "She (= Hillary's mother) never said anything about being embarrassed by Hilary but the way she deflected talking about her spoke volumes. When details of Hilary’s wedding came out and her coworkers (she stayed on part time even after the official retirement) asked about all the Spanish details she was red faced and simply replied “there are no words”. She did confide in my aunt that her husband was heartbroken to not walk her down the aisle, when pressed for a reason she simply stated that you “wouldn’t believe it”.
